Our Story

I often say that Powerful Women Today chose me instead of my choosing to start a movement.

What started s small in my living room has grown into a social enterprise beyond what I could have ever imagined.  First we grew into a workshop, championing women’s goals.  Before I knew it we were running conferences and collaborating with some of the top and most prestigious organizations in the city.

It would come clear quite fast that the root of most challenges women are facing are two-fold:

EMOTIONAL:  The ability to believe, be confident, courageous, resilient and most of all resourceful is a common block.

FINANCIAL:  Having the knowledge , skills, and foundation to build and thrive in our lives without having to make compromised choices for the sake of money moved me deeply.

Something had to be done.  We are now a movement.  As social enterprise that “Champions Women’s Emotional and Financial Independence”

About Us

Why we do what we do:

Our goal is to “Champion and Empower Women’s Financial & Emotional Independence”

Who we are:

Powerful Women Today is a social enterprise working with individuals, enterprises, organizations, government and other statutory bodies to provide enterprising solutions to social and environmental challenges faced by women.  We create new ways of doing business enabling more women business owners, corporate leaders and strengthening single income households and their dependents.

What we do:

Our goal is to help improve the status of women.  We do that by leveraging our 270K followers and extensive experience and interdisciplinary accreditations of our in-house experts.

How we do it:

Through Advocacy, Research, Financial, Emotional and Mental Health Literacy programs, we support and promote the success of women enterprises & corporate leaders.

“Leadership and innovation can be lonely for those called to it. Having the strength and insight to withstand the challenges and obstacles along the journey is as important as the hard skills required to see it through.
Together, let’s create that wave of change and support for the courageous women, ready to take risks, have their voices heard and making a difference”
